Digital Storage Oscilloscopes

The FemtoScope series of products include one-, two- or four-channel USB digital storage oscilloscopes having 5 GHz or 16 GHz bandwidth and 500 MSa/s sample rate per channel. The instruments are designed for both repetitive and single-shot signals. In repetitive mode, the oscilloscopes have 5 GHz or 16 GHz bandwidth. In real-time mode, its 500 MSa/s sample rate at high 12 bit resolution provides a single-shot b andwidth of 200 MHz. These oscilloscopes have many advantages for much lower price, when general-purpose features make them a powerful tools for both manual and automated test applications.

Picosecond Pulse Generators

The PicoSource PG900 Pulse Generators produces a fast differential pulses of 6 V with 60 ps rise/fall-time into 50 Ω based on classical step recovery diode technology or ultra-fast differential pulses of 200 mV with 40 ps rise/fall-time into 50 Ω based on also classical tunnel diode technology. The 2.5 – to – 6.0 V pulse outputs are equipped with fixed 20 dB attenuators that provide output amplitude up to 250 – to – 600 mV. The 40-ps pulse is generated in a small external pulse head that is attached to the main unit via a coaxial cable. This allows the pulse head to be directly connected where it is needed, eliminating the risetime slowing effects of interconnecting coaxial cables.
