Six plugs were designed for examining very fast repetitive signals for use with series of general-purpose analog, storage and dual-beam oscilloscopes:
- Two time base units JA4S-101 (10 ps/div, up to 10 GHz trigger), JA4S-95 (20 ps/div, up to 5 GHz trigger).
- Two dual-channel sampling units JA4S-100 (18 GHz) and JA4S-96 (12 GHz).
- Voltage Step Generator JA4S-89 with three 50-ps rise time pulse heads.
- Dual-channel 70-ns delay line JA4S-102 with 2.3 GHz bandwidth.
During 10 years there were manufactured more then 2000 pcs. of 12-GHz oscilloscopes, and more then 2000 pcs. of 18-GHz oscilloscopes.

During 15 years it have a status of the standard for fast electrical pulse measurements. Production was started one year before HP54120 model. During 8 years there were manufactured more then 200 oscilloscopes.

These products are characterized by flexibility, resolution and dynamic range, long memories, and built-in analysis features for complete characterization of complex signals.
